Well, it’s been a long time, but I finally have a website!

It’s has been such a rough week at work, that I decided to get the car to the track for some stress relief! But, with a motor that had 3.5 years of race mileage on it and my pushing some high revs, it finally let go - I was on Phoenix International Raceway and had just started my hot lap. Came out of NASCAR 3 and 4 with the pedal pegged the whole time, exited up the banking and shifted to 5th gear and heard a *POOF* and looked back and saw a cloud of blue smoke. Pedal went dead - all this at about 120 MPH! Went straight and then turned off the engine and drifted safely to a stop and waited for a tow back to the paddock.

We’ll get it apart and see what the root cause analysis is, but tired engine and high revs did her in.

Alas, she served me well!
